the education world

i sit and wonder what is going on with schools these days... seriously how are kids going to get their education with every other teacher being layed off... so many schools are shutting down its unbelievable... the one thing we do need in this world is education. and its being taking away from us because of government funding and lack of money. where are all these teachers suppose to go now for work with everything closing. With how large schools have become how are kids suppose to get the full affect of their education without enough teachers.. i think this government is getting alittle ridiculous witht aking away the things really really need, to just build and spend money on things that dont really matter... i think the citizens of the u.s. should be able to have a voice on how our tax dollars are being spent.

  2. This is true. Many of my friends are in their second year of teaching and have been already layed off, since they were the last ones hired. Whats the point of getting an education if you can't go out there and use it in the real world.

  3. I totally agree with you. The kids are the future, like whitney Huston's song "The greatest love of all". What kind of future are we going to have if most of the kids are not getting a decent education. Even if the teacher was really positive and outgoing, when you have over 35 kids for one teacher how can that teacher give the attention needed to those kids that desperately need it? If the people on top of the food chain would just give up a fraction of what they make the people on the bottom give up (for example, the teacher aides or the teacher among many other positions)the CPS would have more money to give to the schools so that the students get a decent education.

  4. I absolutely agree. I see so many people out there struggling to get by, who aren't in school or haven't been to school, on the streets begging for money. Or friends who can't afford going to school who have to work two jobs. I think the government needs to start supporting kids with school and teachers with jobs. This world needs to grow in education and you can't do that without teachers. I always hear about teachers getting paid horribly or teachers being laid off, it's ridiculous! Teachers should be getting paid good money, they are the ones teaching ever kid what they need to know for the future and the real world.. How many parents can say they can successfully home school a child, I don't think many. Teachers specifically get a degree to teach their subject, or many subjects, and I think they need to be recognized a whole lot more. Teachers put in hard work, and not every one is ment to teach. Teachers are the main reason kids even get to high school or college. And the good teachers are hard to find. The government definately needs to support our future and teachers.

  5. THE GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO START CARING ABOUT WHATS IMPORTANT AND PUTTING THE TAX DOLLARS TO GOOD USE INSTEAD ON SPENDING MONEY.. OUR MONEY ON USELESS THINGS....
and on to of it... they are trying to get all the extra activities out like art n dance n music n anything that is not school book material...
